Time for creativity, time for business, for a more dynamic industry

This year will see the seventh “Précieuses Confluences” take place on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at the headquarters of the Union Française de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie, des Pierres et des Perles (UFBJOP) in Paris.
A key event for France’s jewellery industry, Précieuses Confluences is aimed at buyers and brand representatives from France and beyond, as well as those working in all areas of France’s jewellery sector.
This year’s event will focus on those working in trades involving stones, such as stone and pearl dealers, lapidaries and diamond merchants.
Paris is the world capital for all aspects – artistic and technical – of the stone trade.
Other artistic trades will be showcased at the event, including work by glypticians (precious stone engravers), enamellers, jewellers and designers.

TIME FOR CREATIVITY

Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29 (AM) will be given over to speed-networking, offering French and international brands and retailers the opportunity to meet with French suppliers, including stone and pearl dealers, lapidaries, diamond merchants, studios, those working in the artistic trades, designers, CAD designers, and so on.

TIME FOR BUSINESS

Tuesday, October 29 (PM) will be set aside for networking between funding bodies and French studios and designer brands.

PROGRAM

NETWORKING DAYS: CREATIVITY

To attend Précieuses Confluences, you must be :

  • A brand or retailer, from France or abroad;
  • A French lapidary, diamond merchant or stone and pearl dealer;
  • A French workshop;
  • A French craftsperson or maître d’art specialised in a trade associated with the jewellery sector;
  • A French designer or CAD designer.

Monday, October 28

Registration open from 9.00 am to 9.30 am
Attendees take part in up to 14 30-minute meetings between 9.30 am and 6.30 pm.

Breakfast and a buffet lunch will be provided to allow attendees to network throughout the day.

Tuesday, October 29 (AM)

Registration open from 8.30 am to 9.00 am.
Attendees take part in up to 9 30-minute meetings between 9.00 am and 1.30 pm.

NETWORKING DAY: BUSINESS

To attend this session, you must be :

  • A French jewellery workshop;
  • A designer brand;
  • A funding entity.

Tuesday, October 29 (PM)

Registration open from 1.30 pm to 2.00 pm.
Attendees take part in up to 9 30-minute meetings between 2.00 pm and 6.30 pm.

A buffet lunch will be provided to allow attendees to network throughout the afternoon.

The seventh Précieuses Confluences will be hosted at a prestigious venue – the historic headquarters of the UFBJOP and spiritual home of France’s jewellers, gold- and silversmiths and lapidaries, where those working in the industry have come together for the past 150 years.
550 30-minute business meetings will take place on Monday, October 28 and Tuesday, October 29, 2019.

Before September 30, 2019.
The description of your company will be published in the catalogue of attendees.
Potential partners will use this information to decide whether they want to meet with you.

Search on the online catalogue

The online catalogue goes live one month before the event.
Use the search engine to find potential partners.

Request your meetings

Each attendee must draw up a list of those they want to meet.
It is important that you list plenty of people to ensure you have a full schedule.
Arrange your list in decreasing order of priority, with those you most want to meet at the top.
