Taking the jewelery and watchmaking sectors to the next level

The eighth “Précieuses Confluences” will take place on Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21, 2020, at the headquarters of the Union Française de la Bijouterie, Joaillerie, Orfèvrerie, des Pierres et des Perles (UFBJOP) in Paris. 
A key event for France’s jewelry industry, Précieuses Confluences is aimed at buyers and brand representatives from France and beyond, as well as those working in all areas of France’s jewelry and watchmaking sectors. 
This year, we have partnered with France Horlogerie
Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, it will be possible to attend the event both in person and via video-conferencing.

JEWELRY: MAKING JEWELRY IN FRANCE

Tuesday, October 20 will be given over to speed-networking, offering French and international buyers, brand representatives and retailers the opportunity to meet with French suppliers, including representatives of jewelry production studios, workshops and facilities.

JEWELRY AND WATCHMAKING: SOURCING AND MANUFACTURING COMPONENTS IN FRANCE

The morning of Wednesday, October 21 will be set aside for speed-networking between French and international watch brands and French manufacturers of watch components and findings for the watchmaking and jewelry industries.

GROWTH FUNDING

The afternoon of Wednesday, October 21 will focus on speed-networking between funding bodies and French jewelry and watchmaking studios and designer brands.

JEWELRY: MAKING JEWELRY IN FRANCE

To attend Précieuses Confluences, you must be :

  • A French or international buyer, brand representative or retailer;
  • A representative of a French jewelry production studio, workshop or facility.

Tuesday, October 20

Registration open from 9.00 a.m. to 9.30 a.m.
Attendees take part in up to 14 30-minute meetings between 9.30 a.m. and 6.30 p.m.

Breakfast and a buffet lunch will be provided to allow attendees to network throughout the day.

JEWELRY AND WATCHMAKING: SOURCING AND MANUFACTURING COMPONENTS IN FRANCE

To attend this session, you must be :

  • a French or international watch brand;
  • a French manufacturer of watch components or findings for the watchmaking and jewelry industries.

Wednesday, October 21 (AM)

Registration open from 8.30 a.m. to 9.00 a.m.
Attendees take part in up to 9 30-minute meetings between 9.00 a.m. and 1.30 p.m.

Breakfast will be provided to allow attendees to network throughout the morning.

GROWTH FUNDING

To attend this session, you must be :

  • a French jewelry and/or watchmaking studio;
  • a French jewelry and/or watchmaking brand;
  • an institutional investor, private bank or dedicated investment fund.

Wednesday, October 21 (PM)

Registration open from 1.30 p.m. to 2.00 p.m.
Attendees take part in up to 9 30-minute meetings between 2.00 p.m. and 6.30 p.m.

A buffet lunch will be provided to allow attendees to network throughout the afternoon.

Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23

Tours of the studios and showrooms of selected suppliers.
Virtual tours will be arranged if COVID-19 restrictions mean that attendees cannot visit the studios and showrooms in person.

The 8th Précieuses Confluences will be hosted at a prestigious venue – the historic headquarters of the UFBJOP and spiritual home of France’s jewelers, gold- and silversmiths and lapidaries, where those working in the industry have come together for the past 150 years.
Up to 550 30-minute business meetings will take place on Tuesday, October 20 and Wednesday, October 21, 2020.
Meetings may be held using video-conferencing technology, subject to COVID-19 restrictions.

Once the organizing committee has approved your registration and Francéclat has received your payment, you will be sent a username and password, which you can use to fill out your profile.

Complete your form

Before September 30, 2020.
The description of your company will be published in the catalogue of attendees.
Potential partners will use this information to decide whether they want to meet with you.

Search on the online catalogue

The online catalog goes live three weeks before the event.
Use the search engine to find potential partners.

Request your meetings

Each attendee must draw up a list of those they want to meet.
It is important that you list plenty of people to ensure you have a full schedule.
Arrange your list in decreasing order of priority, with those you most want to meet at the top.
